Abstract

In an era of exceptional complexity and rapid shifts, the search for practicable solution-seeking approaches that transcend boundaries between multiple fields has taken on the ultimate relevancy in this article. The emphasis is on the overlap between Computational Thinking (CT) and Design Thinking (DT). This article explores the underlying synergy and its effects on establishing shared knowledge. It describes how this synthesis aids professionals in overcoming obstacles and exploring uncharted territory through innovative thought and collaboration. The article explores the practical implications of combining CT and DT to provide insights into a unified and comprehensive approach to problem-solving that crosses conventional boundaries to stimulate creativity across various disciplines. From a human-centered perspective, the confluence augments the analytical power of conventional stand-alone CT and DT, forming an interdisciplinary framework capable of navigating the complex obstacles of today’s professional environment. The combination of CT and DT introduces a new problem-solving paradigm while providing an integrated strategy that transcends established limits and encourages creativity across multiple fields. In examining the practical implications, this article emphasizes a unified approach that transcends the conventional boundaries of CT and fosters creativity across disciplines. The confluence of CT and DT is a central research topic in this context.
