Multivariate Analysis of Influential Factors in the Perceptio ...
Abstract
This study investigates the determining factors influencing the perception of various educational dimensions among university students in multicultural contexts, specifically in disadvantaged areas (ERACIS) of Andalusia and European cities in the northern of Morocco (Ceuta and Melilla). Linear regression analysis was employed to assess the influence of variables, such as overall satisfaction, gender, participation in volunteer activities, religion, and employment on dimensions including “Study plan, management and organization,” “Material resources,” and “General satisfaction” using a sample of 1,302 students, all hailing from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds due to their multicultural origins. Results revealed that overall satisfaction emerged as the most influential factor across all studied educational dimensions. Additionally, it was identified that certain extracurricular activities, such as volunteering, may have both positive and negative effects on the perception of educational resources and study plans. The conclusions underscore the complexity of factors influencing the educational experience of university students and suggest implications for enhancing the quality and effectiveness of educational programs.
