Abstract

The benefits of integrating transformational leadership and artificial intelligence (AI) in education are to bring the educational leadership and teaching and learning process to a new level. Transformational leadership enables leaders to adapt to the constantly changing educational environment, while AI technology enhances intelligence and personalization in education. The purpose of this article is to explore the problems and new prospects for improvement in blending transformational leadership and AI and implementing them in Chinese K-12 education. First, the researchers introduce the concept of transformational leadership as applied in education and summarize well-known theories. Next, the researchers explore the application of AI in K-12 education. However, the researchers also look at the challenges that AI may face in education, such as privacy and data security, technical barriers, and other issues. Finally, from the perspective of transformational leadership, the researchers offer some recommendations based on the main dimensions of transformational leadership to address the challenges of AI integration in education. Through these discussions and suggestions, the researchers hope to provide ideas and insights to promote China’s K-12 education toward a new prospect for a better quality and intelligent education system.
