Excellent connections made between FDR and Trump with their media usage. This gave presidential media usage a historical context and thus an interesting spin on the current administration.

Great comparison between the different ways presidents have used technology to connect with the public more intimately. Each different technology they have used differs, and each reflects the priorities of those presidents using them. For example, FDR spoke through the radio, and albeit that's all they had at the time (that and television?), he seemed to care about having a dialogue with citizens. Twitter is an easy place to blurt out opinions, and not have an actual conversation or express any deep thought.

I tend to stay away from politcs because there is always something negative being said. However, your presentation was engaging and informative and it opened my eyes to the not-so-negative aspects of politics. The effect social media has on politics is huge and it is an important topic to discuss. I did not realize how much social media popularity can affect how much funding a politician gets and that is something we need to consider for our future. Good job everyone!

This was a very detailed presentation. The point about social media and receiving more donations makes total sense. With so many companies and people on social media it makes it easier to reach a large crowd with little effort. Social media also causes lots of headache for politicians and their employees.
