Assignment #21

Keeping a log of my digital media usage was an eye opener for me and also made me more aware of the large amount of time wasted on the internet, my phone, or other digital platforms. Through keeping the log, I was able to slowly work my time spent on different applications down, simply because I was aware of it. Often, I would find myself only planning to spend 30 minutes or so on YouTube or Netflix, and I would end up spending almost double that. Over the winter course I was able to make my usage of those apps more efficient and focused. In this digital age that we live in, everything that I post is subject to being ridiculed, so I am very aware to not post anything offensive, or incriminating for future employment. Overall at the end of this Log I am comfortable with the adjustments I have made with my usage, and I have made sure to maintain a positive and drama free online profile that I believe accurately represents me as a person.
