New Learning MOOC’s Updates
Transformattive pedagogy
Pedagogy is the study of teaching and the ways that students are taught. Pedagogy has changed over time to keep up with changes in society and technology. Didactic Pedagogy was the first modern way to teach. Then came Authentic Pedagogy, which became popular in the 20th century. Now, we need a new way to teach that adopts the changes that globalization, diversity, and digital media have brought about.
Transformative Pedagogy is the new approach. This method is meant to make a big difference in the lives of students and the world around them. It also focuses on how learners interact, give and get feedback, and work together. Reflexive pedagogy is another term for teaching methods that include feedback and interaction from students.
There are a lot of big changes happening in the world, like technology, globalization, and diversity. The old ways of teaching are becoming outdated with the world we live in. In the past, people didn't care about how different they were, and classes were forced to mix as much as possible. Still, diversity is now an important part of our lives, and we have a moral, political, social, and ethical duty to respect each other's differences.
In the 20th century, relationships were based on authority and obedience. But in the 21st century, more participation, responsibility, and control are expected. The new ways of teaching need to keep up with these changes and give students the skills they need to do well in a world that is always changing.
