Abstract

This research aims to analyze and explain how religiosity moderates the relationship between organizational trust and self-efficacy in knowledge-sharing behavior variables. This research was conducted at the village credit institution (LPD) in Badung Regency, Bali Province, which took a sample of 310 respondents using SPSS, version 26. The research results show that organizational trust and self-efficacy influence knowledge-sharing behavior. It shows that a higher organizational trust and self-efficacy level in LPD employees will result in greater knowledge-sharing behavior. This research finds that religiosity can indirectly strengthen and play a moderating role in the influence of organizational trust and self-efficacy on knowledge-sharing behavior, meaning that religiosity strengthens knowledge-sharing behavior. Religiosity plays a quasi-moderating role in the influence of organizational trust and self-efficacy on knowledge-sharing behavior, meaning that religiosity strengthens organizational trust and self-efficacy to support knowledge-sharing behavior. Limitations and implications for practice of this research are that the knowledge-sharing variable needs to differentiate the type or content of knowledge used because there is personal knowledge that is not easy to communicate and knowledge that is easy to communicate. This study makes novel contributions to both theoretical understanding and practical ramifications, providing light on the complex links between religion, organizational trust, self-efficacy, and knowledge-sharing behaviors in LPDs. By filling research gaps and giving actionable insights, the study improves scholarly debate and informs strategic decision-making in organizational development initiatives.
