The Philippines has a number of public policies aimed at achieving social goals, with a particular emphasis on social justice, healthcare, education, and poverty reduction. One significant strategy is the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), which tries to decrease poverty by providing conditional cash transfers to disadvantaged families. By ensuring children's access to healthcare, education, and nutrition, these transfers contribute to the development of human capital. The Universal Health Care Act is an additional important policy that aims to give all Filipinos access to reasonably priced healthcare. It guarantees that everyone is enrolled in the federal health insurance program and strives to improve access to healthcare, especially for those living in underprivileged areas. In order to raise the standard of education, the K–12 Educational Reform extended the basic education program from 10 to 12 years with the intention of raising educational standards and equipping learners for both postsecondary education and the global workforce. The government's attempts to reduce inequality and raise everyone's standard of living are reflected in these measures.
