In my opinion, the educational system is evolving for the better. The limitations of traditional didactic pedagogy, where students passively absorb knowledge from teachers and textbooks, led to the emergence of authentic pedagogy. In this new approach, students engage with learning in ways that connect to their own lives, making education more meaningful and relevant. Progressivist views on learning emphasize that students should be active participants, gaining knowledge through experience. Following authentic pedagogy, transformative pedagogy has further enhanced education by encouraging students to develop both intellectual and emotional skills. In today’s educational system, students are trained in problem-solving and critical thinking, and they are encouraged to reflect on their own learning, fostering a deeper understanding and personal growth.
