Difficulties that teachers face in the age of Technology
In the age of technology, teachers need to have necessary competence to integrate teaching and technology to make our lesson more interesting and interconnected.
However, teachers in rural schools in Vietnam still have to face some difficulties.
It was found that teachers in rural school were not confident with their computer skills and they often had technical problems with it. Besides, some lacked qualified ICT training (Pham,T.T.N,2019).
Therefore, teachers should have more time to be trained to be competent and confident in integrating ICT in their teaching.
Thank you for your comment. As an educator in Central America I am afraid that something similar is happening to us. Educators are overwhelmed with day to day tasks and don't seem to have the interest, time, financial means and incentives to update themselves in terms of technology. In addition, in countries where there are high rates of inequality, access to technology and information in an equitable manner becomes even more complex.
I think that the Vietnamese teachers in Vietnam as in specified and other developing countries or underdevelopment countries as in general, should be obtained more training in ICT and other technologies knowledge so that they can adapt in the new age of teaching where a lot of technologies had been built and applied into pedagogy environment.@Phương Anh Phạm Lê,@Trang Xuan,@Lien Nguyen,
