Quizlet and Kahoot
Quizlet is a simple online tool for teachers and professors to form a variety of both topical and mock-test quizzes or questions online that the students can attempt during their personal time in the form of flashcards, tests or even games. It is beneficial in terms of memory work towards the particular lesson or topic, memorizing and learning the content through various interactive methods.
Kahoot, on the other hand is a game-based tool that is usually done during live sessions, classrooms, and lecture theatres. It makes lessons interactive and fun and students who are shy or not confident can even participate in the polls or quizzes anonymously. This provides a chance for students who do not usually speak up or answer questions in classes that is required for more critical thinking and understanding.
Another great thing about Kahoot! is that you can analyse the results at the end and see which students aree struggling and need more support!
Agreed.
Quizlet and Kahoot approaches brings in both engaging quiz and a sense of competition if not to test oneself every now and then after a possible dry lecture.
It might help negate and mitigate the possibilities of anxious feelings towards what is conventionally known as test scores and examinations.
