Ubiquitous Learning and Instructional Technologies MOOC’s Updates

Update #1 Find an example of a learning technology, which genuinely makes a difference to the dynamics of learning. Describe it, and analyze the ways in which it makes a difference.

LRNR is an adaptive platform that I believe genuinely makes a difference to the dynamics of learing. The adaptive platform comes with the book for your course already connected to the platform. There is an adaptive side bar that adapts to what you are reading in real time. So as you read, the content in the adaptive side bar that includes: videos, practice quizzes, notes, flash cards, 3D interactives/activites etc.... will automatically match what you are reading. This helps gives the student more study material at a quicker rate and therefore gives the student more study material and more time to study with less time searching for material to study.

Also all of the assignments and tests can be given to the students in the platform. The quizzes, test, and exams are also adaptive and written using Bloom's taxonomy. So the questions change to fit the level of bloom's that the student can handle at the moment and move up in Bloom's as the student moves up with answering the questions correctly. This helps students to improve to using the more higher order thinking and learning.
