Abstract

El arte refleja la expresión de comunicar a los otros ideas y sentimientos. El sincretismo manifiesta un proceso o estrategia de adaptación comunicacional que deriva en creencias y culturas para la interrelación social. Lo folklórico recoge el saber tradicional informal de una cultura en una región determinada. Con estos conceptos previos, pretendemos dar a conocer la manifestación cultural tradicional de varias regiones caribeñas a través del arte contenido en la literatura poética y dramaturga, que manifiestan una de las maneras que tienen los pueblos para comunicar su historia cultural, particularmente sus identidades rurales. Presentaremos cómo mediante el arte literario de la poesía y la dramaturgia podemos conocer el resultado híbrido de la lengua y la cultura de los colonizadores que llegaron al Caribe, convirtiéndose en expresiones sincréticas al momento de ser adaptadas a la propia lengua y a la cultura de quienes la recibieron, invitándonos a reflexionar, a respetar y a apreciar a esas personas que crearon cultura. Cuba, República Dominicana y Puerto Rico fueron pueblos que dimanaron una cultura sincrética en común. [Art reflects the expression of communicating ideas and feelings to others. Folklore encompasses the informal traditional knowledge of a culture within a specific region. With these foundational concepts, we aim to highlight the traditional cultural expressions of various Caribbean regions through the art embedded in poetic literature and dramaturgy, which represent one of the ways in which communities communicate their cultural history, particularly their rural identities. We will explore how the literary art of poetry and dramaturgy reveals the hybrid outcomes of the language and culture of the colonizers who arrived in the Caribbean. These influences became syncretic expressions when adapted to the language and culture of those who received them, encouraging us to reflect upon, respect, and appreciate the individuals who created this culture.
