In recent years, the demand for accessible and scalable educational resources has surged, driven by the global proliferation of online learning. Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) have emerged as a powerful tool for democratizing education, allowing learners from diverse backgrounds to access high-quality content at their own pace. However, existing MOOC platforms are often proprietary, limiting innovation and customization. This presentation introduces an open-source platform designed to overcome these limitations by providing a flexible and community-driven solution for creating and managing MOOCs. In this session, we explore the use of AI tools and how these tools may be used to improve accessibility for students with disabilities. We ook at current available tools and their use in an accessible learning environment. We also examine the use of the tools in consideration of educational and learning pedagogies.
