...MoreHello, I am a girl Anastasia mwamadi from malawi. And am doing school at Malawi university of science and technology (MUST)pursing Bachelor of arts in indigenous knowledge systems and practices in year 3.Am the only girl in my class which has helped me do build my confidence levels and it has given me competitive spirit.The learning experience and skills have train me in doing art which include drawing,painting graphic design and ceramic. These learning experiences have built in me interest in healing my country through an art gallery, which will comprise of drawings, paintings, and ceramics. This is because I want to be inspiration in country that it is possible for a girl to be in the art field and make a big impact at country level and world wide.One of the sectors I was also interested in making a difference using art is health sector where there many problems which needs do be addressed and I hope I will work in hand with health experts on how to include art in the health services centres .I have participated in Mural Restoration I. Thyolo district Hospital, I am participating in Restoration of a heritage site and also involved in community outreach events where we interact with the local people and understand how they view different things.I grown to be passionate about art and wellbeing of people this conference will be an opportunity for to gain knowledge about this and to interact with people with same ambitions.
