  I live and work in Western Australia where I have spent most of my life. Married and with one child, now married and making her mark as a classical guitarist, my wife and I live in one of Perth's south eastern suburbs. I have been involved in Catholic education all my life, from Year 1 through to the present, apart from a year in an Anglican College. Most of my academic life has been spent in schools in Western Australia. My passion has always been Religious Education. Even my current study, reflection and writing, which is about the use of Foucauldian discourse analysis is intended to evaluate what happens in the RE classroom. And sitting behind all this is my interest in the role the imagination plays in how teenagers construct their understanding of how to relate with God.
