  Coming to education after a 10-year career in the software industry and 5 years as a stay-at-home dad. The past decade has been primarily defined by living abroad with my family. We spent four years in Amsterdam, two years in Sydney, two years in Portland, Oregon, and then two and a half years in Tokyo. We have recently moved back to Portland. My ultimate goal is to teach high school history, economics, curent events, and geography. I am also a basketball coach, and proponent of purposeful use of technology in the classroom.
