  My name is Luis and i was born in Mexico. Currently I am a Phd student inte program of Ciencias Polìticas y Sociales in the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where I am researching on the Geopolitics and thalasopolitics of Mexico from the prehispanic period to the present. In addition to my activity as a student, I work as an academic in the same institution where I have taught in the subjects of Geopolitics, Economic and Political Geography, International Relation Theories, among others. I have published book chapters and scientific articles in some institution and magazines. I have also been a radio and television commentator on issues of international events; thesis`director and reviewer. Currently i am coordinating a book with a colleague on petroleum geopolitics. In my leisure hours I am a passionate about going to the movies, reading books, mainly political novels, playing sports, cooking mexican food and going out with my friends.
