Most of the learning nowadays is shifted to asynchronous and online modes, where students have the opportunity to learn at their own pace. This results in student student-centric approach in the teaching-learning transactional process and hence the teachers have to step up as facilitators to cater to the needs of diverse learners. This has also become challenging to hold the attention of the learners for a long period. Eventually, chunking the content into microlearning modules has evolved as a proven alternative.
