These are my main strategic priorities

Train vaccinators and qualified immunization skilled staff at health facilities and district management teams on monitoring the immunization data using monitoring charts
Mobilize the immunization management teams at lower levels – districts and regional teams to extract EPI data from DHIS2 system and present the analysis of the data on monthly basis to their higher levels.
Revisit target population estimation at district and health facility levels segregated as different strategies – fixed, mobile and outreach.
Support the national EPI management team on conducting data quality self-assesment (DQS) at selected health facility, district and regional levels.
Support the national and sub-national EPI management teams on conducting validation exercise between administrative and survey coverages.
Strengthen the integration of the measles case-based surveillance system into AFP surveillance system.
Create analytical tools that brings all the surveillance, immunization and vaccine management data together to present them as dashboard.
Support the production of monthly program performance updates and introduce feedback mechanism by higher to lower levels of EPI management teams.

I have selected the following strategic priorities:

Comments:

Based on the recommendations from last data quality self-assessment conducted, management team at lower levels should produce monthly EPI information from the DHIS2 data for monitoring and use of EPI data, redefine the target population estimates per immunization service strategy and on the other hand from the EPI programme review and planning meetings conducted, integration of vaccine preventable diseases surveillances particularly the measles case-based surveillance and AFP surveillance systems have been recommended, my choice is to ensure the recommended activities are implemented accordingly.
