Having worked with Kids' Own for almost 10 years, I am currently leading the organisation, overseeing the development and delivery of a number of local, national, international and strategic projects, including collaborative book projects with children, online and offline publishing initiatives, professional development programmes, and a long-term virtual artist-in-residence programme in Northern Ireland (now running for 11 years). My role includes strategic development, organisational governance (for a registered charity), fundraising, creative direction, editorial and publishing responsibilities, dissemination and advocacy, team leadership, developing strategic and sectoral partnerships and, supporting and documenting ground-level delivery of projects. I am also a published writer and a translator and copy editor.
