  I am a Doctoral student currently enrolled at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. I specialize in Japanese and Chinese philosophy as well as applied ethics and ethical theory. While I was a certified and active Master Gardener in Wisconsin, I became focused on Environmental Ethics, and though I deal closely with Classical Chinese/Japanese philosophy as well, I often find ways to link these two areas together to create new perspectives on environmental issues. After completing my coursework at UH-Manoa, I plan to spend time learning and teaching in Taiwan and Japan to bolster my second and third language before entering the job market.
