Week 3 Task 3 - BrightByte's Clarity
Adaptive Learning and predictive AI tools in Education is the future for both tutoring and learning. This is being made possible by company's like BrightByte, who have been developing software that, by using forcasting AI techniques and predictive AI models are moving this sector forward at a very fast pase.
This is done with the help of their latest Data and Analytics Platform Clarity. This tool is used by educators to process structured data in order to transform it into intelligent insights using advanced machine learning and AI techniques in order to make the most out of the student's education.
This tool is already being adapted and used in many schools in the US. The tool is mainly used by educators in order to transform data such as marks, assesments, attandance and behavior into intelligent data that the educator will than use in order to improve the class's overall performance. This can be briefly seen on the tool's dashboard, in the screenshot below.
When a lot of data is inputted, the tool will start using machine learning in order to predict what the educator's best actions are. With more data inputted, better analysis can be done in order to further improve the student's performance. More specific data about a specific year's performance. This includes, graduation risks (how likely are the students the graduate), exam readiness and proficiency together with the student's behaviour and attandance.
This tool uses evidence-based AI models to identify new student opportunities, enhance their performance and maximise their information intake in order to make the most out of their education. This tool is used in order to review research and data, and analyse the best routes and methods the educator needs to take.
