  Hello all! My name is Griselda Escobedo and I was born and raised on the southwest side of Chicago. I am currently a junior doing a dual degree in Learning and Education Studies (with a concentration in Educational Equity and Cultural Understanding) and in Sociocultural and Linguistic Anthropology. My interests range in terms of future aspirations but I hope to work in the nonprofit sector post-undergrad (focusing on education policy) and later going to grad school to become a special education teacher. I am heavily involved with a couple of organziations on campus including being president of both Amnesty International and Best Buddies International, and volunteering with the SOAR program.
