My school is currently undertaking a One-to-World Device rollout, where every student and staff member either brings in their own device, or opts for a school-provided device. In addition, we are in the midst of building our 5,000 square foot Startup Incubator with courses focused in coding, making, and media.

So my job steps in...the job to coordinate and provide technology professional development for all educators. To take them from where they are, to whatever the next step is. I was introduced to a model of Personalized Professional Development that I am working to bring to our staff ranging from Pre-School to High School. I have learned methods using a Blended Learning approach, helping staff to focus on the "Why?" before choosing what technology tool, and how the technology tool can be used to serve a meaningful purpose in their classrooms. 

I have been working in the field as a Technology Integration Specialist for 20+ years now, creating my own innovative courses, igniting students to follow their passions and drive the learning in the classroom. What a journey I am on!
