I am Public Health Consultant with great experience in Monitoring and Evaluation as well as Health Information Expert.Iam currently working as a Consultant supporting various countries in conducting immunization coverage surveys and health systems strengthening / M&E Systems.

I am a holder of Masterof Public Health as well as Bachelor of Health Information Management both from Kenyatta University(Kenya).Additionally I have a special training  in Field Epidemiology, surveillance and Data management from CDC-Atlanta in the United States of America.

I previously worked as a Health Information Officer with the Ministry of Health at District Hospital, Provincial Hospital and National Health programs such as National Malaria Control Program, National HIV/AIDS STI Control Program, Maternal Newborn & Child Health program and Disease Prevention & Control for a period of over 20 years.

I have worked for more than three years with World Health Organization Country office of Republic of South Sudan initially as an International STOP Consultant where i provided technical guidance and support in the development and implementation of robust national health policies, programme and plans in response to health emergencies in the field including the conflict affected populations.I also provided technical guidance in the development of standard operating procedures and guidelines for systems of data collection, analysis and reporting using modern technology eg mobile telephony,smart phones,softwares and cellular services of transmission of data.

Overally, provided leadership and guidance to the Health Systems team, ensuring that activities are carried out in a highly professional and timely manner ensuring that documentation and reporting for the activities was done as per the laid down procedures.

I am highly skilled in conducting coverage surveys,project impact evaluations, developing M&E Plans and Frameworks as well as implementation of the plans- a skill that I gained in Johannesburg, South Africa where I was trained in developing M&E plans & Frameworks and how they are implemented. I have gained advanced skills in writing of technical & Program activity reports, Weekly, monthly, biannual and annual reports after implementation of activities specifically focusing on achievement of the planned objectives of an organization. These were skills that I gained while working with the Ministry of Health in Kenya, WHO country office of South Sudan and collaborating with various international organizations such as UNICEF,UNHCR,UNOCHA,Health Pooled Fund,BMGF,USAID,CDC,Global fund among many others.
