In the current health systems strengthening project the Malawi CSO Platform is respomsible for:
—Demand Creation: To contribute towards having an informed citizenry that claim rights & exercise them responsibly (through community mobilization, education, communication & dialogue, & linking communities with services)
—Support to the Extension Program for Immunization (EPI): Assist in implementation & monitoring of EPI activities & processes; & assist in action-planning e.g. on underserved areas/communities
—Lobbying & Advocacy: EPI to be adequately resourced & for MoH/EPI to address key issues in hard-to-reach areas e.g. refrigerators, outreach clinics, etc.
