Hello, my name is tehosterihens Deer, I am a junior studying CRS with a double minor in Native American studies and public communications in Newhouse. I am a member of the Mohawk nation in Kahnawake and am 23 years old. I am studying abroad next semester and will continue in CRS till next spring. I have been at Syracuse University since 2019 and have experienced wonderful connections and friends. This course is a wonderful course as we explore the communication terms, much like last semester's class. I hope to strengthen my public speaking and presentational portion as this is a skill I would need for the future. Im not sure what I want to do for work but I would like to do something in native American communications.
