...MoreProfessor Gibson has been actively creating opportunities to invent, utilize and apply a variety of original and applied design methods to identify, instigate and sustain social and cultural change in his largely interdisciplinary research since the early 1990s. His projects have included the invention, implementation and testing of a learning system designed to enhance English language acquisition among Spanish-speaking children, the collaborative creation and implementation of a multi-category, digitally delivered, interactive learning tool designed to enlighten middle-schoolers about the consequences of using tobacco and the creation of an interactive learning tool designed to enlighten American businessmen and businesswomen about the affects of sexual harassment in the workplace. He also maintains a small professional graphic design practice.
