I am currently working on my PhD on Curriculum and Instruction Specializing in Early and Middle Childhood Education. My background includes a double major in Elementary Education and Criminology, and a Master’s of Science in Reading. My interest of study is to research the proper assessment to use with Kindergartners. I am a Kindergarten teacher and I find it very difficult to find valid assessment materials in order to determine the growth of my students using a reliable tool or instrument that can identify the sociological, physical, and behavioral skills necessary for life.
