Liz Sidiropoulos lectures at the Melbourne Campus of CQUniversity in the Faculty of Business. Informatics and Education. She teaches Economics, Marketing and Finance at diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels and also co-ordinates several of these courses. Liz also has over twenty years of experience in government, industry and consulting in a range of industry sectors including agriculture and food, telecommunications and insurance/investment services, in Australia, Asia and Europe. Liz turned to professional teaching in 2004 and has since published several papers and also received both the 2007 Pro-Vice-Chancellors’/AIC Tier One (Carrick 1) and Tier Two (Carrick 2) Award for Teaching Excellence. Her research interests are in holistic worldviews, environmental sustainability, social responsibility, pedagogy and learning, individual/organisational change as well as system/social change. Liz recently established Gaia Care Pty Ltd, an organisation dedicated to assisting individuals and organisations to navigate their journey to sustainability. Gaia Care is currently working with teachers in TAFE and academics/students in Higher Education to assist them in their respective journeys of teaching/learning for sustainability.
