Being the daughter of a police officer, and having also married a police officer, Dlayne's lived-experience has seen much of the turmoil and rapid changes used as background for this study. She is originally from Utah, USA. Dlayne is a a student with senior class standing and with a very productive agenda. Here at UVU, we take pride in the involvement and engagement of our students in scholarly work and Dlayne has been very much a model of this pillar of our institution.
