Dr. Beverly Hearn is Associate Professor of Educational Studies and teaches graduate classes in teaching English as a Second Language and in teaching reading. She also serves as Director of the Reading Center at the University of Tennessee at Martin. She is Past President of Tennessee TESOL and is active in International TESOL, Mexico TESOL, and Asociacion Nacional de Universitaria Profesores de Ingles. Her publications focus on teaching strategies for reading and on teaching English to speakers of other languages.
