  I'm writing this quickly now because I don't have a microphone available with which to do these introductions. Most of my undergraduate and graduate work was on the history of US social justice movements and the faith traditions that animated them. I taught courses on economic justice at the University of California, Santa Cruz. I have a wide range of unrelated work experience, from tattooing and graphic design to interfaith labor organizing, TESOL instruction and EOPS academic counseling. I'm currently a private college prep instructor and college counselor. I hope to work in the public sector when I finish my degree this fall.
