  Alaina Roach O'Keefe has recently completed her Bachelor of Education (2005) and her Bachelor of Science with an Honours in Psychology (2003) from the University of Prince Edward Island. She has over four years of experience in research, including family literacy. She has been involved in the editing of all the modules used in the family literacy program, as well as in the recruitment, assessment and currently, the facilitation of this program in a community in rural PEI. She will be assisting in recruitment of partners, training of facilitators, and co-ordination of the project in the two rural communities as well as in Aboriginal communities in PEI and Nova Scotia.
