Dr. Cañadas received his PhD in Development Economics from the Ohio State University in 2008. He also has a M.B.A. with a Finance concentration from the University of Dayton (2003).
Dr. Cañadas is originally from Argentina where he finished a B.A. in Economics from the “Univesidad Catolica Argentina” in 1997.
In May of 2010 Dr. Cañadas received the Dennis Tinder Professorship 2010-2014 for fostering the Mount’s mission to provide students with a thorough grounding in the liberal arts and the Catholic Faith at Mount St. Mary's University.
Dr. Cañadas teaches Foundations of Economics: Macroeconomics, Foundations of Economics: Microeconomics, The Federal Reserve Challenge Competition, Intermediate Macroeconomics, and Money and Banking.
Dr. Cañadas has been a visiting scholar at the Center for Neurotechnology Studies, Studies, Arlington, VA, USA.
