Dr. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa is an Associate Professor of Information Science. He obtained Ph.D. from Emporia State University, Kansas USA where he focused on global health information strategies. Dr. Musa was a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois Graduate School of Information Science, Emporia State University Kansas, and the Mortenson Center for International Programs at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA.
Dr. Musa has taught courses in information studies in the United States and Nigeria.
His primary research interest is health epistemology, health ontology, and information behaviors of people suffering from chronic illnesses. Dr. Musa recent research include Polio Immunization Social Norms in Kano State, Nigeria: Implications for Designing Polio Immunization Information and Communication Programs for Routine Immunization Services. Dr. Musa’s current research addresses questions related to sociocultural determinants of resistant to information for improved well-being with reference to under five immunization information resistant behavior in resource constraint nations.
