The Arts in Society’s Updates
2019 Conference on The Arts in Society Announced
The Fourteenth International Conference on The Arts in Society will be held at the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal, 19-21 June 2019.
Founded in 2000, the Arts in Society Research Network offers an interdisciplinary forum for discussion of the role of the arts in society. It is a place for critical engagement, examination and experimentation, developing ideas that connect the arts to their contexts in the world – on stage, in studios and theaters, in classrooms, in museums and galleries, on the streets and in communities.

I loved my selected sessions in the conference in Portugal. I have learned many new ways of teaching and engaging students how to learn through new approaches to art practice. I cannot wait to apply some of these methods to my art classes ha ha! Thanks for the wonderful conference!

I wish everyone a great conference in Portugal!
I love this 5 minute *flash* presentation platform, and hope it will stimulate more interaction among our community members.

As a first time participator, the Virtual Lightening presentation enabled us an opportunity to introduce peer reviewed developing research— even from afar! Such forums as this and the conference, we at themodalityproject.design, hope will foster interdisciplinary dialogue and continually welcome thoughtful collaboration from our peer community.
Hallo,
I got ill and thus cannot participate at the conference but I find no mail-address to write my absence. Is there someone who can send me a telefon number or email address so that I can come in contact with the conference planners in Lisbon?
Best wishes Dirk (dimi@edu.au.dk)
