It was an interesting introduction of a mysterious name called Istations. It is a computer based learning system used for and create new educational challenge. The author starts to write introductory catch phrase posted in the product’s website. The interesting thing about the intro was a teacher trying to use automated learning system to her students along with the narrative about the character of the system. The system is explained as if it is a kind of computer game that individual students use, and the author also covers educational aspects it has and its interactivity. The introduction of a new world of a program has successfully drawn the attention of readers.
The graphic elements used to present the author’s activity with the system are professional and show expertise. With the proper usage of images and insightful division of analysis, data look well organized. Inclusion of writings of the subjects, students, made the writing more reliable.
It was not just about Istation system but something deeper and expansion to application of it. The approach was scientific and for possible followers too. Given that Station Rotation Model, the author was trying to open the system up to public debate as well as instruction of how to use the system. It had reasonable amount of references and suggestions of next steps which gives high credit to the content.
Conclusively, the content is a guide for teachers and review of Istation system. The author used a progressive, scientific approach in a form of a diary. Systemical presentation with references made it look profession but a little distracting when readers are trying to find more about Istation itself. The steps presented was introduction, application, outcomes, overviews, feedback, and lastly, suggestions. The author wanted to make use of a computer program effectively in teaching.
When using this as a teacher resource, keep in mind that there's a lot here, including a wealth of lesson materials. This means that Istation can easily remain a relevant and valid resource for classrooms with students of varying abilities. The reports can give teachers valuable information about students' progress for both individuals and entire classes. However, with so much available, the interface can be clunky at times. Even with abundant help videos and regular webinars, learning to navigate the site could take a significant amount of time.
