Imagining Futures Speaker Series
We are excited to announce the Imagining Futures Speaker Series.
The Common Ground Research Media Lab Speaker Series, Imagining Futures, seeks to offer our Research Network members a place of learning and interaction by introducing in online conversation sessions led by some of the world’s leading researchers, practitioners, artists and civic leaders. Our aim in the Imaging Futures series is to create linkages that cross disciplinary, geographic, and cultural boundaries. In considering our collective futures, we must build strategies for action. Our aim is not just to reflect upon the world, but to nurture a commitment to change it.

Marvelous! However we must not put our great ideas on line. We must think that paper and pencil, or pen is the greatest technology ever created... I am an Image thinker, I write all on paper. And it does not mean that I don't know about the new technologies! On the contrary, I know about very well. That's why I have a huge mistrust about them: data collectors/algorithms writers/ Artificial lives/ quantic physicens/extra earth scientists.
If we are Imaging Futures I think we could, sometimes, use another old ways also. We can mixe many technologies: the old ones and the most recent ones. Could it be possible to think about it? I try to control my mind, I know what I am able to create, however, I have in mind the responsibility of my imagination and intelligence.
