Indonesia Education Abroad’s Updates
Indonesia Backpack Project
Hello students! I want to share with you a link to our Indonesia study abroad program's "Backpack Project" page. The Backpack Project was created by students and faculty in the College of Education to capture the essence of education in each country that we visit, using the visual representation of a child's backpack from each location.
The backpacks are on display in the Office of International Programs on campus, and each backpack has an associated Community in Scholar for people to join. These "Backpack Communities" are designed for students who have been on past trips, students wishing to join a future trip, and local students and teachers hoping to take what we have learned abroad and apply it to their own classrooms and learning environments.
Feel free to use this community page to share photos from your trip once you have returned. The students from last year's trip will also be included in the page, and will be more than happy to discuss and compare their experiences with your own, as well as answer questions and post their own stories and photos.
This is a way for each group to maintain communication on your experiences, and hopefully build on them each year so that we may create a solid foundation to share Indonesian Education with our local communities!
