FA16 Immunization Module’s Updates
Class Presentations - Wed Oct 19th at 9am
Dear M1 Class:
I have been very impressed with the case presentations that have been created in Scholar as part of the Immunization Module. For our class this week I would like to have some of you present your cases. I am especially interested in cases that highlight some of the CDC background material including the types of vaccines, their use and contraindications. However, other topics are certainly welcome!
The presentations will be short; no longer than 5 minutes. To help facilitate communication, we can project the original written case and any images you have uploaded into Scholar. You are also welcome to bring a flash drive with your case as a powerpoint presentation if you wish (but this is not necessary). The class will be held this Wednesday (October 19th) at 9am. I anticipate that additional faculty from the Microbiology course, and perhaps clinical faculty, will be present to help faciliate discussion.
If you interested in presenting your case please send me a message through Scholar or directly to tapping@illinois.edu. Additionally, during class we would like to hear about your experience with Scholar and the project in general. Looking forward to seeing you all on Wednesday!

Dear class:
I'm still in need of student presenters for this coming Wednesday. This merely involves going up and reading your case to everyone. Each case will probably only take about 5 minutes. The faculty will take it from there to highlight the important concepts. I could present your cases myself but I thought it would be better if you, the authors, presented them instead. Please let me know soon if you are willing to present.
Thank you,
Dr. Tapping
