Abstract
This paper explores the transformative role of Generative AI in People Management, shedding light on its application throughout the employee journey from attraction and recruitment to retention and offboarding. The study employs an exploratory research methodology based on case studies developed by Visagio, a Brazilian consulting firm, and highlights innovative strategies of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in optimizing recruitment processes, facilitating onboarding experiences, enhancing training strategies, and conducting performance evaluations. In the attraction phase, Generative AI is utilized for intelligent resume screening and personalized job advertisements, effectively matching candidates with organizational needs. The onboarding process benefits from AI-driven virtual assistants that provide real-time support, while tailored training content is created based on employee feedback. Furthermore, performance evaluations are enhanced through comprehensive analysis of 360-degree feedback, yielding insights that inform personalized development plans. Through qualitative and quantitative analysis of implemented solutions, this study underscores the potential of Generative AI to not only improve efficiency but also to foster a more equitable and inclusive workplace culture. The paper discusses strategic implications for integrating Generative AI in human resource practices, addressing ethical considerations and training needs for human resource professionals in the era of digital transformation. Ultimately, this study provides a framework for organizations seeking to revolutionize their people management strategies, leveraging AI as a key driver of organizational effectiveness.
