Enhancing Vocabulary Acquisition with AI in Translation Classes

Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in language learning revolutionized the creation of educational tasks, particularly in vocabulary building at classes of translation. AI-powered tools help create a wide variety of personalized exercises that adapt to learners’ proficiency levels, enhancing engagement and retention. This paper explores how AI facilitates vocabulary acquisition through various AI-generated tasks designed to expand students’ foreign language vocabulary while emphasizing the stylistic characteristics of a set of synonyms. Additionally, AI-driven translation technologies, such as neural machine translation and natural language processing (NLP), provide accurate and context-aware translations. By automating and optimizing task creation, AI supports educators in designing effective language-learning activities. This study examines the benefits, challenges, and future implications of AI-generated tasks for vocabulary development and translation in educational settings.
