Abstract
This study created a scientific digital picture book titled “My Helpful Friend: Hydrogen,” focusing on the theme of hydrogen energy. College freshmen were invited to participate in the test. The research results indicate that learning in the natural sciences through digital picture books helps students achieve better learning outcomes and elicits positive responses towards learning. The findings of this study not only provide empirical support but also offer practical teaching tools and methods for science education. In the future, different topics can be explored to enrich students’ learning experiences and enhance their scientific literacy.
