Abstract
This study explores human rights in accordance with Islamic injunctions, precepts, and impacts in the ongoing century. Given the misunderstanding over the incompatibility of Islam with human rights, this research is significantly conducted to highlight that Islamic injunctions are compatible with the observance of human rights. This study includes questions such as: What are human rights in the light of the Quran and Hadith? How does previous literature view Islam and human rights practices? How does the Cairo Declaration on Human Rights in Islam (CDHRI) play its role in highlighting Islamic injunctions to protect humans? To what extent are human rights being protected in Iraq? What is the importance of human rights in Islam? How do Islamic teachings address women’s rights specifically in relation to modern feminist movements? We address the mentioned questions, which are significant in contemporary research.
