Abstract
This paper explores posthuman identities in the context of advanced technology, using a posthuman framework. It analyzes the films “Android Kunjappan” and “Her” for their portrayal of posthumanism, emphasizing themes of human-machine relationships. Additionally, the study investigates and discusses posthuman concerns, addressing ethical and societal implications. Through comparative analysis, it reveals the intersections and divergences between cinematic and media narratives, highlighting their impact on public perceptions of the evolving relationship between humanity and technology. This research contributes to discussions on the implications of technological progress on human identity and aging and also the emotional aspects of humans.
