Abstract
A key tenet of building an inclusive workplace culture is providing leadership development and career advancement opportunities. This session highlights the transformative impact of cross-cultural relationships, such as supervisors, mentors and sponsors and how those relationships help create inclusive workplace cultures. Greta Okomo reviews the benefits of developing intentional and goal-focused cross-cultural mentoring opportunities and shares her experiences engaging in cross-cultural mentoring and how those experiences promoted her leadership development and advanced workplace diversity and inclusion efforts.
