Abstract
This paper presents a conceptual framework, aimed at advancing equality, diversity and inclusion in an organisational context. This paper explores three fundamental themes — the legislation, the community, and the organisation. The discussion and framework provided within is developed in a manner that can be utilised in various contexts — may that be public, private or tertiary sectors or different industries. The author argues that the utilisation of the proposed framework enables organisations to meet legal requirements, advance organisational policies and practices as well as make a worthwhile contribution towards reducing inequality in societies.
