Abstract
The convergence of artificial intelligence (AI) and artistic creation is not only a technological milestone but also a significant cultural phenomenon. This study explores the transformation in art induced by AI technologies, focusing on a range of art styles and the effectiveness of different AI algorithms. The central question addresses how these AI-generated artworks resonate with and influence contemporary cultural trends and societal perceptions across different global contexts. The dataset considered for the study features approximately 10,000 AI-generated artworks categorized by diverse styles such as Conceptual, Futurism, Impressionism, and Surrealism, created using tools like GANPaint, MidJourney, and DeepDream. Employing quantitative methods, this study examines correlations between the AI tools used and the popularity of artworks, as indicated by popularity scores across various platforms like Instagram, Dribbble, and Reddit. The analysis also considers regional preferences and demographic engagement patterns to uncover cultural and societal influences on art reception. Preliminary findings suggest a significant correlation between the complexity of AI algorithms and the popularity of artworks, with styles like Futurism and Surrealism garnering significant attention. The analysis reveals that these preferences reflect broader societal and cultural dynamics, including a growing fascination with digital innovation and virtual experiences. Additionally, the study observes distinct regional patterns, where certain styles align with cultural narratives and social values, influencing how AI art is consumed and perceived globally.
